An early morning winter mist hanging in the Armagh valley and over our little olive orchard in the foreground.
This sort of mist always clears shortly after sunrise.

Shafts of early morning sunlight shine through the foliage of gum trees.
The three larger trees near the foreground were on the property when I bought it, I planted all the others. 2006/06/07 |

There is a hill on Elysium that is high enough to give a view over most
of the ground-hugging early morning fogs.
It can be very beautiful when the early sun shines on the top of the fog.
This view looks north, or NNE, over the Armagh and Hutt valleys. 2006/06/23 |
